Terms & disclaimer
BagSafe operates as a registered logistics service provider under applicable Indian shop & establishment, trade-licensing, and GST regulations, and issues a delivery challan or consignment note for every shipment.
Carriage by our domestic airline partners is governed by the Carriage by Air Act, 1972; carrier liability for loss or damage is limited to the applicable statutory rate per kilogram unless a higher value is declared and insured in advance.
BagSafe's standard liability cover is ₹1,000 per shipment; a supplementary declared-value cover is available on request for higher-value items, subject to an additional charge.
A valid government-issued photo ID matching the traveller's ticket is required at pickup, in accordance with civil aviation cargo security requirements.
BagSafe reserves the right to inspect the contents of any unsealed or suspicious package before it is handed over to the airport cargo terminal.
Lithium batteries, power banks, flammable or pressurised items, and any hazardous, prohibited, or contraband goods must not be included in a shipment; such items will be refused or removed at the customer's risk. See Disclosures below.
Quoted transit timelines are estimates, typically 1–7 days intercity, and remain subject to airline operational schedules.
A shipment not accepted at the delivery address within 30 days of arrival is treated as unclaimed baggage; applicable storage and administrative fees may apply before the item is returned or disposed of.

How is the price worked out?
A ₹500 service fee plus ₹150 per kg, with 18% GST added. For 19 kg that comes to ₹3,953. It covers airport pickup, sealing, double-layer packing, ₹1,000 insurance and doorstep delivery. Fragile handling and express delivery are optional extras you can add while booking.
Where do you pick up my bag?
Anywhere within 5 km of the airport: the terminal kerb, a hotel lobby or a café. You choose the spot while booking and our agent keeps in touch on WhatsApp.
How long does delivery take?
Same day within the city. Other cities take 5 to 7 business days, or 4 to 5 with express delivery. You'll see the expected date before you pay.
What if my bag is damaged or lost?
Every bag carries ₹1,000 of insurance, and you can add more cover while booking. Claims are raised with photos, assessed and paid out within 7 days.
What if my bag weighs something else?
Pick the package closest to your bag from the weight scale above, or set the exact weight in the booking form. Our team weighs every bag at pickup.
